Estudi Tur Costa is pleased to announce the opening of the painting and sculpture exhibition by the artist Willie Márquez, who returns to the island after several years away. The show opens to the public on 26 April at 6:30 pm and runs until early June 2025.

Born in Jerez in 1968, Márquez has developed his work in cities such as Madrid, Ibiza and, more recently, Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz), where he has lived since 2019 in his home and studio, WM Art House. Throughout his career he has explored many disciplines, including painting, sculpture, video, photography, jewellery, fashion and design. His creative drive has led him to collaborate with major brands and artists such as Majoral, Swarovski, Osborne and Pacha, and with musicians such as Ketama, Niña Pastori and Tomasito.

Over the years his work has evolved into a mature phase focused on more organic and fluid forms. His latest pieces, in both painting and sculpture, reveal a search for purity and intimate expression, where calligraphic lines intertwine with natural forms, creating a sensory experience that invites contemplation and reflection.

In 2022 Willie Márquez began to gain international exposure, taking part in fairs and collaborating with art foundations. In 2025 we celebrate his 30-year career with this solo exhibition in Ibiza, which welcomes him back.
